Never Straightforward

So - I finally got some pretty good news today!
I saw my respirologist to talk about the lung abnormality and go over the echocardiogram.

Turns out the thing in my lung IS an AVM. BUT - it is not shunting to my heart (which means that he thinks the heart flutter could be simply caused by medications and shouldn't cause a problem), and he said it looks like it does not feed into any airway passages. Because of this, the risks for strokes, clots, or heart attacks is significantly low. He said it *should not* cause me any problems and that I will likely not even be able to feel it. So yes it is an AVM but the location of it means that I have probably had it since birth and it shouldn't cause any issues.
Hooray!!

I did get SOME bloodwork back, however. Frankly it is all so confusing that I don't want to explain much until I have seen an Internist regarding all of my results. What is frustrating is that nothing seems straightforward or conclusive and will likely mean having to monitor all of these bloodwork levels for a longer period of time to get a better idea of what is going on in my body. At least I have the good sense to take pictures of any major swelling that I am experiencing.
The only thing that he DID mention that came up, again, on the low end of positive is the screening for Lupus and Sjogren's. It was indicated that I likely do have Lupus, but only mildly active.

He did say that because my health is so finnicky, that I am always going to have to watch every single thing that I do, eat, and stress about. I have to always make sure that I get enough rest, stay hydrated, keep my Vitamin D levels up, monitor several bloodwork levels (liver, pancreas, thyroid, iron, etc...), pay attention to what I eat, I am not allowed to get overly exhausted or over-do it, and in his own words he even said that it will be "difficult to lead a normal life".
Lucky for me - I have been paying meticulous attention... So it was more just a reminder that I will always have to keep this close attention to my health in order to stay relatively okay.

Good news on the AVM... Confusing news on the rest. Hopefully some more answers will surface. :)
