Skin Care Routine

Have you ever wondered what the recommended skin care routine is for someone who suffers from Psoriasis, chronic facial Staph Infections and Abscesses, prone to inflammation and other bacterial infections, as well as hives/rash from several random substances?

Haha I guess not.

But I am gonna tell you anyway.

Unfortunately, if I skimp on any one of these steps for more than a day, it REALLY REALLY shows, and then it is tougher to get rid of.

1. Remove any makeup
2. Cleanse the face
3. Exfoliate the face
4. Put on special prescribed antibacterial face/body cleanser and leave on for a few minutes
5. Rinse face
6. Pat dry
7. Ensure all active infections are brought out and are not spreading inward.
8.a. Put on Cortisone cream or antibacterial cream if there are any growing or deep infections
8.b. Put on proper nighttime facial lotion if there are no super angry infections
9. Always remember to take antibiotics (which I am on 100% of the time for other reasons as well as helping to prevent these nasty infections).
10. If there is a particularly bad case that is disfiguring my face or inflaming all of the lymph nodes in my neck and WILL NOT come out... I exfoliate, then place a super hot wet cloth covered in salt and soak it for 10-15 minutes, then repeat steps 1-8. (This may have to be repeated several times in a day for certain nasty infections).

And the absolute worst ones are those that send me into the ER to have them taken care of by a doctor - which has happened 3 times for sure, perhaps 4).

I also need to use a special lotion for my scalp every couple of days and I always have to use the antibacterial cleanser to my entire body when I bathe/shower.

Believe me, it is a small price to pay, but I tell ya, it adds a good length of extra time to a bedtime routine.
