Surprise Visitor

Today was a nice day overall.
Yesterday was pretty awful. My migraine started when I woke up around 10am and did not subside until 9pm. Throbbing, dry heaving, light and noise sensitivity... I spent the day with all the lights off, an eye cover, ear plugs, and feeling like my brain was about to explode. All of that was followed by a sick sleep, and then more pain and pressure until it all-of-a-sudden dissipated.
My sleep overnight was not great. I don't think I actually started sleeping soundly until 6am... and then I had issues overnight including Crohn's symptoms, grinding teeth, and general restlessness.

Then I woke up today - feeling almost brand new!
The migraine was gone, leaving only a slight headache. The day was great. I took it easy. I did the stairs once and it nearly caused me to faint, and I endured a significant issue while I napped this afternoon... but I spent the rest of the day reading and enjoying the sunshine through the clouds. A friend came by for a visit, and it was a really nice day.

Tonight, however, I am in quite a bit of pain. I am hoping it is simply an off-day kind of moment, otherwise it means that my first cortisone injection is wearing off. My right SI joint is just throbbing tonight... I guess we'll have to see. Hopefully it is just a bad night... or else it feels like my SI joint made an appearance:

"Hey - didja miss me???" followed by a diabolical laugh.
