I did my Cosentyx injection last night.
Within about half an hour after the injection, my throat and chest felt slightly tight, with a little bit of a tickle and irritation. My breathing, however, did not seem at all impeded. I monitored it all evening and all morning and it has not gotten much worse, if at all. Unless something major and stressful occurs, I should not require a trip to the Emergency Department... but this slight tickle and irritation will likely last for about a week.
Last night, while monitoring my breathing, we FINALLY had the time to plant all of our seeds together in the early soil pods. So we spent an hour or so tediously placing tiiiiiiny little seeds inside these little pods to help them grow into seedlings that we can transplant into the garden.
I love anything that makes it feel like Spring!!
Then, this morning, I made sure to start off my morning right!!
I woke up quite early, so that I could take my time getting ready. Today I am meeting with one of my bridesmaids! So, once my joints eased up a little, I slowly started getting ready. A little hair, then a rest outside in the beautiful sunshine, a little makeup, then a rest watching a show about weddings, a little breakfast....
I also managed to throw the ball for Decker in the yard and I am wearing an outfit that I feel confident in, and using a cane that happens to match my outfit (BONUS!!).
Sure there is pain...
Sure I am exhausted already...
Sure I am using my cane and still dealing with tightness in my throat...
But I am in a great mood and really enjoying the morning and early afternoon so far.
If I can manage to start my day right, I can also tend to ignore some of the significant pain that I experience. It may not be perfect, but I can still have great days. That is more than worth it.
