Dehydration

Having Crohn's Disease, with a missing large intestine, and bathroom breaks 8-12 times a day, dehydration is a pretty common complication.
Without my large intestine, I have a hell of a time trying to rehydrate on my own.
Despite drinking 2L of water or more a day and doing whatever I can to stay hydrated, it simply depletes over time.

So, every once in a while, I have to go in and get some fluids injected directly into my veins.

With the recent knowledge of being pretty Vitamin D deficient, I cannot contribute all of my usual symptoms solely to dehydration, BUT, getting rehydrated is never a bad idea for me.
I happened to be out yesterday visiting a friend and felt more and more weak as the day passed. I have been feeling weak, lightheaded, with consistent headaches, muscle cramping, and a bit down.
Some of those could be just vitamin d, but the headaches especially are usually my personal sign of dehydration.
I decided to stop in at Urgent Care to get a Litre of fluid. By the time the fluids were in, my headache was nearly gone.
While the fluids were being pumped into my dehydrated body, I listened to a Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark podcast.

Surprisingly enough, it was a positive experience. Today I feel a little bit better, I have a touch more energy, and I have vowed to make more regular visits to get fluids more often before I become too dry.
