Nightmares

The one big problem with nightmares is that no one can protect you from them. And when you are on heavy medications that cause hallucinations on top of that, it gets just plain difficult to ever want to sleep.

Currently, I am lying on my couch, dog at my side, watching a Disney movie with all of the lights on to try and make myself relax enough with happy thoughts to try and sleep for a couple more hours.

This is the third night in a row with bad nightmares. Nightmares that only used to happen on Prednisone.... Hopefully it is a coincidence and a random occurrence... Wish me luck!!

Stuck without a foolproof #copingstrategy

Plus - it doesn't help that some kid was running up and down the hallway for twenty minutes at 3:30 in the morning on the floor that I live on in my apartment building. To be honest, I am not even sure that that actually happened in reality. It could have been a major auditory hallucination. That's the frightening part.
