Adapt to Change

New diagnosis = new diet

This is a compilation of foods that are relatively good for my Crohn's (or haven't caused a problem in mine specifically for months), plus foods that reduce inflammation (or ones that aren't known to cause inflammation), and ones that are supposed to be good for arthritis:

Herbal teas (caffeine free)
Water
Lean meats
Light fish
Fruit juice
Extra virgin olive oil
Onions (few)
Apples
Pineapple (fresh)
Soy milk
Brown rice
Barley
Salmon
Tuna
Whole grain products (few)
Garlic
Basil
Rosemary
Cinnamon
Curry powder
Leafy greens
Oatmeal
Fruit & nut bars
Strawberries
Broccoli
Kiwi
Kidney beans
Mangoes
Herring
Mackerel
Trout
Probiotic yogurt
Egg whites
Red potatoes

The hardest things I will have to give up are tomatoes, avocados, white potatoes , white flour and wheat gluten (for the most part), corn, dairy products, chili powder, and beef. Oh and no more alcohol.
The rest of it should be fairly easy.
