This fall has proven to be very busy health-wise.
Luckily, I have not been dealing with any new, unexpected, or remarkably different symptoms than usual. This is also the first year that I was NOT in the hospital or emergency room on or around my birthday! This could prove to be a good year!!
On the other hand - I have now developed an allergy to Humira. This was somewhat expected after my allergy to Remicade, but it is never nice to hear. So over the next few weeks my body will have to adjust to being off of Humira - which could be a huge challenge.
I'm also seeing some rather inconvenient side effects from some of my pain medications. I've always had various random hallucinations... but they have gotten worse recently. Hopefully they will settle back down. As funny as it is, I don't really like having to verify that a situation is real through friends.
I have also been involved in the Chronic Pain Center program this fall. Definitely lots of good information... I just wish that I could get more involved with physiotherapy and other therapies sooner rather than later. It would be nice to have that team of health care professionals who ALL know exactly what is going on and who speak with each other and work together as a team towards getting me on a stable and manageable path.
So good news - no new diagnoses, no new weird symptoms.
- no birthday trip to the hospital
- lots of focus on music
:)
And I'm really enjoying the fall weather!!!
