Ready, Set, Wait!

Off to an intense physiotherapy appointment - so I had to take specific medications to prepare, then prepare myself as much as I can physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Then, of course, the rush to the appointment for the long wait in the waiting room.

My patience has gotten better and better over the years. It's just how it is - doctors are often running late. As much as it may be frustrating at times - I remember that I, myself, sometimes take up more time because of how complicated my situation is, and I need to remember how amazing that is that my doctors ensure that I feel satisfied with the appointment and that he/she was very thorough. So although appointments consist more of waiting than the actual appointment sometimes, it is always good to remember that:

1. There is nothing you can do about it.
2. You may need that extra time sometimes and it is nice not to have to worry or feel rushed.
3. Every single person goes through this. Everyone has to wait - and everyone gets frustrated and people just want to get it over with and go home.

So I'm ready! I'm set! And I am waiting patiently in the waiting room with a snack and a good book. :) Try and take advantage of the down time.
