I worked at a shoe store for several years and, like many girls, I have a bit of an obsession with shoes.
It isn't like I have shoes overflowing in every room, in fact I have been able to confine them to one area, but I do have lots of pairs.
I have lots of beautiful heels.
Here is my dilemma.
Walking has been a bit of a struggle for me over the past couple of years and mostly in the last four months or so. With joint pain in my hips and having motion sickness all the time, I am currently using my cane whenever I go farther than the backyard. To run any errands that require more than a five minute jaunt, I need to use my walker to make sure I don't collapse from the exhaustion.
So what do I do about my heels?? They are so gorgeous and I miss wearing them. Frankly, some of them aren't going to cause any drastic pain increase, and on days when I'm having difficulties more from exhaustion, I want to wear my heels! But how absolutely ridiculous would it look wearing stilettos and using a walker?
Takes the sexiness right out of it :(.
If I didn't have enough motivators to get better - this is a huge one!
I need to get better so that I can wear sexy heels again!!!
(And all of that feeling better, reduced pain, increased activity, and working stuff too....)
