Enjoying Great Food

Although I am not in remission, I am very lucky to have a fairly predictable disease progression of my Crohn's.
What does this mean for my diet?
As I am sure I have mentioned before, there are several dietary things that I stay away from. They are not products that I BUY or keep in my home for myself. With that said, unless I am doing something incredibly important after a meal, I don't deprive myself of much while I am out.

I have had the great opportunity of tasting and eating some pretty amazing food recently with some great company.

One of the reasons I am grateful that I was deprived of very flavourful food for SO many years is that now, when I do get to have amazing food, it has that extra 'wow' factor and makes me feel absolutely spoiled. It's also the reason that I got into cooking.

My week, physically, has been pretty awful. I am just beyond worn out ... But great food and great company has made this week memorable in a good way.

I LOVE good food!
