My mom comes up to visit me a lot. I would say 90% of the time is to come and take me to appointments, help out with some more difficult housework, and/or help me drive and get around to appointments. The other 10% is usually a pass-by visit to go and help babysit my nephew.
Very rarely... A point some odd percent... Like today... She comes up to actually have a fun visit. This is the first time in over a year where she was able to come up for a simple get together at my place! It is so nice to have her here and be able to just hang out rather than focus on appointments.
