Music Monday Edition: Say Something

Below is the link for when I did the song "Say Something" by A Great Big World at a coffee shop called Caffe Crema - before it closed.

I was really sad to see this shop close. It was a really nice atmosphere, it was very relaxed, and they had all of the microphones and even a piano at the venue. This was especially great for me since I only had to bring my music - made for a much less exhausting night. Plus it was a showcase of several artists, so I got to sing for half an hour to forty-five minutes. As much as I love a huge show, these smaller ones were much less tough on my body and just made for a really enjoyable night of music.
This also got me connected with some great people in the music industry as well who I now consider at least acquaintances.

The reason I picked this song today is because:
A. It's a video of a live show that I myself did not videotape. (The video is care of Dave Reid - check out other videos on his channel Big Rockies if you'd like).

B. I find this a very moving song... It offers me a chance to really get into it and allow my emotion to get into the song - even if it is about a relationship and not having to deal with health trials.

I really love singing this one, so I hope you enjoy! :)
