I have two major appointments this week (a couple of others in between), and I had one of the big ones today.
This ended up being a good appointment. We changed the dosage of one of my pain medications, we filled out an application for another medication that might may help as well, and he is sending a referral to another pelvic pain specialist to surgically remove the IUD that's stuck in there.... (The only question being: where did the string go?)
Then, when I told him that I was able to go fishing yesterday, he proceeded to show me videos of him and his brother fishing and the guide fileting the fish.
Some big stuff coming out - and the day surgery could be a very huge deal and possibly a huge problem, but how nice is it to be able to talk about fishing during a good but tough appointment.
Tomorrow's appointment should be interesting. I am looking forward to getting some concrete information.
