Difficult Morning

This morning was just one of those mornings where nothing was going to go as planned.
It was supposed to be a simple morning - drive downtown to drop someone off, go back home, go to an appointment. Simple, right?

Well, got up, not feeling great. Alright well that's not unusual.
Get to my car - oh yeah it's still covered in 15cm of snow. Driver's side frozen shut - good thing I started my car early. Look for my snow brush/scraper - it's not in my car.
As I am looking for an extra brush in the trunk, I slip and fall on the ice - directly onto my tailbone. Which, for the Ankylosing Spondylitis, is probably the worst place for me to have landed. Ugh!!
The fall didn't really help my nausea either.

Okay. Sit down in the car. Take a second to recuperate and try not to cry from the pain as my car gets brushed off.

Start driving... Totally forgot my cane.
Oh well, I can stop at home before my appointment.
Then...traffic is bad but that's just Calgary ... Get about five minutes into the drive and - oh shit! Chinese Fire Drill! Stop at the red light, switch with the passenger, get back in. Minute we start driving again with me in the passenger seat - I grab a doggy bag and start vomiting.

Awesome.

Luckily I had time to just chill on the drive home, stop at home to pick up my cane in order to get to appointments, and had most of the afternoon to cuddle with my puppy.... And maybe have a drink.
