I'm not sure if it used to be because of starting a new school year - that 'new beginning' type of stress, or possibly simply the drastic weather change (like today - going from 28•C to snow). Either way - the Fall is always a little frightening and frustrating.
But here is the silver lining.
FOOTBALL!!!!!!
I love my NFL football. I love watching at home with my dog (who has a trick with the command 'touchdown')... I love watching it at a local pub with amazing friends... I love watching it at my place or at someone else's place. Lots of amazing people. Lots of amazing athletes.
It is such a great game and I get SO into it.
Why is this so good?
Because, in the Fall, I tend to have many more bad days than mediocre days. (And good health days are extremely few and far between).
Being a lover of NFL does not ALLOW me to sit at home all of the time. Even if it is painful and awful, watching the NFL gets me out of the house with a purpose - even when I don't feel like I can go. Further to that - I get so into the game that it acts as a type of distraction from the intense pain in so many areas of my body.
Thank goodness for Football.
Another one of my many saving graces!
