Today I woke up with energy!!
I also woke up with major nausea, but once I got over to the pharmacy for the king of anti-nausea medications, I was good to go!
So what do I get to do when I have energy?
Well, it all depends on how much and how long it lasts. Unfortunately, that's not something I just inherently know. I have to do trial and error and see how I feel afterwards. So I have to plan my 'activities' based on a scale of what NEEDS to be done, what I would LIKE to get done, and what I CAN do if I have any energy left over (which is extremely rare).
So -
1. Once I got home - I took Decker for a nice walk in this gorgeous weather, and we even met several puppy friends on the way and had some great puppy playtime.
Awesome!
2. Laundry - because that pile is getting big and I need to make sure ALL of my Seahawks gear is washed and ready to go for Superbowl Sunday!
3. Clean - not only did I manage to do dishes, clean the bathroom, put clothes away, and straighten up, but I also had enough energy to sweep and wash the floors!!!
This particular activity was done instead of doing #4.
4. Go to the gym - this, unfortunately is not happening. The cleaning took precedence and did a number on the arthritis in my shoulder blades.
After a nap, I may try and do some yoga at home, maybe practice a little guitar and a little music. I also have to cook dinner. Not sure that I'll get all of it done... I've already expended more energy than I think I had stores of in all of last year combined.
It's a good day.
Thank you Ondansetron for killing my nausea enough to help me be able to accomplish some major goals today.
:).
