Today Mom and I went for lunch. We ran a couple of errands and had lunch, and my hips were not doing well, so I used my walker today.
This is not overly uncommon and I am used to having to use it... but the handles have this black material that tends to bleed onto my hands. So while I am walking, I wind up having these sticky dirty black marks all over my hands.
So I dressed it up.
We stopped at a dollar store, picked up some plain pink duct tape, and I used some pearly sticky bling accents to dress up the handles.
Similar to my blinged out cane, if I need a walker at my age, it is going to reflect ME and it's going to be pretty and have some girly accents.
