Half of a Good Day

Lately I have been doing nothing much more than sleeping. It's been weeks already... So when I woke up at a decent time this morning (10am) and had ENERGY, all I wanted to do was take advantage of the good day.
I had a to-do list about a full page long, so I had to purposely move slowly and just puttz at some chores. The last thing I wanted to do was overdo it and then stunt the healing process.
In the last few weeks, everything was put on the side, so there were numerous things that needed to be cleaned.
I didn't manage to get everything done, but I am thrilled that I finally felt well enough to do SOME of them.

I emptied the dishwasher, washed some pots and pans, straightened up, did two loads of laundry, did a deep conditioning hair mask, organized my music and did some photocopying, put in a couple of Avon orders and ordered some Christmas gifts, AND I managed to translate my latest magazine article in French!
It had been a long time since I had written any French, so it will have to be proofread a little more thoroughly by the editor, but I felt pretty great about getting that accomplished today.

Now this all probably seems like a really boring day. And I wasn't able to finish my to-do list, but for me this was a pretty great day.

Of course, once I did all of the above, I had to have a nap. I laid down around 2pm and had intended on sleeping only until 5pm or so, buuuuuut I woke up at 11pm.
Oops.
Regardless of that long nap, I definitely had a lot more energy today, which is a positive sign that I might be slowly starting to heal. :)
