Does this seem to happen to anyone else?:
You have a specialist appointment coming up, and things have been bad. So bad, in fact, that this appointment was scheduled to deal with it... but then one or two days before the appointment, everything is cleared up, and nothing seems wrong at the appointment...
Or maybe you have experienced the flip side...? Perhaps you have been relatively stable and a specialist appointment is simply a pre-scheduled follow-up appointment. Everything seems good, no changes are made, and the decision is made to move the next follow-up just a bit farther away... But then the very next day you wind up with an uncharacteristic flare-up of that particular illness....
My body isn't exactly cooperating.
It is another very clear reminder that I really am NOT in any type of control. Good thing I keep extra bail-out medications at home to deal with random flares and untimely changes. :)
