Day of the Biopsy

This is the first time I have had this kind of test... which made me fairly anxious beforehand.
No needle is the same. No local anesthetic feels the same because it is done in so many different parts of the body.
After my experience today, the freezing was only slightly uncomfortable. The biopsy itself was much more unnerving. It wasn't painful per se, but caused some pressure that made me sick to my stomach.
Afterwards I just have this dull achy painful feeling.

After the appointment, my car died. Which was just perfect. So, in pain, had to sit there and wait for AMA (thank goodness I have AMA) to get it going again before heading home. Then, just because of the kind of day it was, I participated in a little bit of retail therapy. I managed to only spend 2 dollars of my own money because of gift cards, which felt great.
Then I gave up and had an afternoon nap.

Hopefully this ache will only last a couple of days, and hopefully my car won't die again.

It's a medical life.
