Tonight I am frustrated because I cannot seem to get to sleep.
Over the last week or so, I have been so tired that I have gone to bed around 4pm in the afternoon sleeping well into late morning the next day. I have also slowly begun to regain my energy... so I have extended my bedtime hour about half an hour to an hour later all week. Trying to go to bed at 5, then 6, then later and later, all the while STILL having an afternoon nap.
Today, however, I woke up at a decent time, had my short afternoon nap, and then got some work done at home and even went to a super relaxing restorative yoga class.
Afterwards, my energy was boosted like crazy and I spent another two hours working at home.
But now that I want to go to sleep, my body is refusing to fall into a slumber.
I don't know how this will affect me tomorrow, but I am grateful for the energy. Maybe it's a sign that things are looking up and maybe my energy is slowly coming back to before the thyroid fiasco.
