So I have this special skin cleaner that is prescribed. It is an anti-bacterial cleanser to help with all of the skin infections that I get on a fairly regular basis.
Over the last few weeks, after being off of anti-biotics as prep for a diagnostic test, my skin infections have been a little worse than usual and directly on my face.
So, I thought that I could maybe amp up my routine to help battle these little nuisances. I decided, for a couple nights, to let the cleanser really work on my face.... by leaving it on overnight....
I have effectively burned off the first layer of skin on parts of my face. Frankly it looks like a botched chemical peel. Red and raw and dry and painful.
Whoops.
At least the infections have improved... :S
Learn from my stupidity.
Always wash off harsh cleansers and don't let them soak into your skin too much.
