What was intended to be a nice, relaxing, spa day at home - with a bubble bath and face mask and hair mask and reading and candles and Christmas music and holiday movies - turned into a stress-filled day on the phone with insurance.
There are some big changes happening with certain programs and, unfortunately, I am affected.
Everything will get sorted out, but it is a tough pill to swallow when mistakes are made by a company and then the client gets penalized.
It was simply a frustrating day, and I have to make some important phone calls within the next few days, and gather together some documentation.
It's not the end of the world, just a monkey-wrench.

On the plus side, as I was pacing and fuming and crying and doing anything I could to distract myself from a situation I have no control over, I managed to put together the little gift boxes of holiday baking. :)
They are ready to go and currently in the freezer, waiting to be given out.
