Rest or Get Things Done?

My body has crashed.
It is definitely a delayed reaction, but it is done now.
Of course, whenever I am doing a little better than expected, I push and push and push and push. And then the to-do list in my heads gets longer and longer. So now I have actively thought about everything that I want to get done, only to be halted by my poor body screaming "wth" at me!!

So, because I HAVE to take today as a total rest day, I am going to make it a spa day!
I will read in my new comfy reading socks that I got for Christmas, I will play cards lying in bed, I will watch holiday favourites like The Sound of Music and Little Women, light a few candles, do a blemish-clearing face mask, maybe even do a conditioning hair mask! And all of this I can do while basically lying in bed - only to leave the room for food, fresh air, Dex, and to do my Methotrexate injection. AND with all of the snow, I will GLADLY watch as Decker jumps and plays in the drifts. He'll have me giggling in no time at all.

What a great way to change a 'bedridden' day into a 'spa' day instead. Sounds delightful doesn't it?

I'll just pretend the pain, nausea, and frequent (urgent) trips to the washroom aren't a nuisance .
