Imagine being denied life-saving treatment because of something as simple as your age. Or your blood type.
That there is a confident treatment that you cannot access.
I have been naïve, always optimistic that people who need help receive it if help is available. But then I got thinking about organ transplant lists. That people could be on the list - desperately needing a new organ - but never receive that help. Never receive a sure-fire cure, because too many other people also need that cure.
I am trying to imagine the type of stress and desperation that comes from that... just waiting. Knowing how to fix the problem, but having to wait, because you may not be as 'deserving' as another person.
What a conundrum.
