My life has been filled with so many twists and turns, unexpected mountains growing in front of my path as I watch, and obstacles I have had to maneuver around in creative ways.
These situations often get me thinking about what I would do if I had infinite lives and infinite energy.
If I lived a thousand years, with endless energy, there is SO much I would do.
I would master every instrument I could think of. I would do 20 music degrees all in different instruments. I would go to culinary school. I would study history, music, music history, psychology, English, astronomy. I would go to art school. I would audition for professional ballet companies. I would perform opera, then sacred music, then hard rock.
I would study 20 different languages.
I would study every type of artistic expression I could possibly do.
I would study the sciences, mathematics (though I likely would not enjoy it). I would teach. I would instruct. I would try every job I have ever thought I might enjoy. I would do such philanthropic work. I would set my sights on the betterment of culture, humanity, human suffering.
I would play every sport and go as far as possible with every single one.
Dedicate 30 years to one aspect of my personality at a time.
I hope we have multiple lifetimes.
I hope, after I leave this life, that I wake up born again, not only remembering my past lives but also remembering what I would love to accomplish.
If only.
