Zofran Really Does Its Job

Zofran is one of the most effective anti-nausea medications. It's a power-house for nausea.

When I am taking a certain antibiotic, I cannot take my Zofran.
So for two weeks every 6 weeks or so, I am so nauseated I can barely function. It takes me HOURS of being awake to actually get moving, and if I have a bite of food too early I am totally screwed. Other times, however, one bite of food can cut through the nausea and let me function at home for the day.

Welcome to 2019.
I spent my first waking hour vomiting.
Yeah - I am switching antibiotics today.

Now, my husband is brutally sick with a cold and has had chills, so I could have simply caught what he currently has, but I personally believe it is a combination of the two.

We are both a total mess.
But happy!
Happiness wins.

Welcome to 2019!

Body Says STOP

Today I got a nasty little jolt to remind me to stop and rest.

It was a nice reminder for me that it is vital to keep doggie bags around at all times. Puking in a doggie bag (especially while already using the washroom) saves such a mess and a smell.

A random and abrupt reminder to slowwwwwww dowwwwwn.

I think it has just been too busy and too stressful the last few days. Not sure if it is swelling from HAE due to stress or inflammation and cramping from Crohn's due to stress. Either way, stress aggravated my intestines and they responded brutally.
Luckily it wasn't a long fit or anything, only about half an hour of being nauseated and then a few rounds of vomiting.
Now my throat is sore and I am RESTING!
