Up-Sides are Usually Worth it

While I was on a specific antibiotic last week, I was having major difficulties.
The bottom line is that that particular medication no longer seems to do its job.

This is actually fairly normal. After a while, specific medication can lose their efficacy. Lucky for me, there are two other options for meds that do the same thing that I can cycle between for a couple of months. The other good news is that as long as I take a break from that medication for a while, once I start it again, it will more-than-likely work again.

So I switched meds.
It is paying off already - within the first three days. Those troublesome symptoms are improved... but this medication comes with one big caveat.
I cannot take my Zofran while on this medication.

What is Zofran?
It is essentially one of THE top medications prescribed for debilitating nausea - without causing drowsiness.
Basically, it's a miracle worker for monster-sized nausea.

So, the first day that I couldn't take it was okay but not great.
The second day had me vomiting a few times during the day (although mostly dry-heaving since the nausea is reducing my appetite).
So one major symptom is improved, but another one has reared its nasty head. A few more days then I will switch over to a different medication. Cycle through 'em to keep my body from pushing those blockers aside and attacking my organs anyways.

Most of the time the negative effects from medications are more bearable that the symptoms from the illness itself...
So it's still a win.
