FtF Prize Pack #1

For Fight the Fusion we have EIGHT prize packs that were donated from our sponsors.
Our first prize pack comes from Babbling Panda Yarns. Not only is this incredible Spoonie Mom-of-two a crafter, but she also has a very popular and well-written lifestyle blog. She has her Etsy store and her blog filled with professional photos, reusable no-waste products, recipes, advice, and all sorts of relatable information regarding raising kids that are either on the spectrum, ADHD, and/or 2E.
This rock star mom and her wonderful husband and their kids are not only inspirational, but we are very lucky to have them as friends!
In this prize pack you will find some of her well sought-after products like:
• Reusable Face Pads
• Yarn Baskets
• Kitchen towels.
I have been using the face pads for months and they feel amazing! They cut down on the single-use makeup remover pads that I used to buy. They are washable, they get softer each time they are washed, and they can be used for all sorts of little cleaning projects.
The yarn baskets are - again - washable, and can be used for an array of different products. Want to keep your makeup in a nice basket? Want to keep your new face pads in there? How about craft supplies?
The kitchen towels are my favourite. They tie right to your oven handles - and the particular pattern she used for this: Chickens for Charity!
All in all, this is a dream package for anyone trying to use products that produce less or no waste. And they WORK!!
Also in this package you will find exclusive bookmarks and artwork by Painted Light Studios.
Click the links below to check out Babbling Panda's Blog and her Etsy Store full of brightly coloured reusable products.
Thank you so much to this wonderful sponsor for donating such a phenomenal package for this event, and for being a consistent source of love and inspiration.
Check in tomorrow for another featured prize pack. To enter to win one of these eight prize packs, you only have to do two steps:
1. Share an active photo and use the hashtag #FightTheFusion
2. Make a donation of $10 or more to Arthritis Research Canada. Email lightersideofmedicine@gmail.com when you are finished and your name is put into a draw. There is a link on this blog (the web version) to make donations, or it can be done straight to ARC, OR if you buy a BEAM from Nimbleback, some proceeds will go to ARC and you'll get an entry AND your Beam!
Check out @bloglighterside or @lightersideofmedicine for all the details.

The Beam

Nimbleback, the creators of The Beam (a Canadian company) is our biggest sponsor of Fight the Fusion.
We are so grateful to have a sponsor dedicated to yoga, exercise, and spine health.
Nimbleback will be donating a Beam for one lucky winner during that week, but they have also agreed to donate a portion of Beams bought for Fight the Fusion week.
The Beam itself has been a part of my practice for the last few years since I purchased one at the Power of Movement fundraiser. With my inflamed shoulder blades and SI joints, the Beam helps relax those tight muscles around my joints and helps to give me a little extra mobility. If I am feeling more hunched over or more rigid, I will often lie on the Beam for 5-10 minutes.
I am excited to purchase a second Beam - their newest option of a softer/gentler foam - during Fight the Fusion week.
If you want to know more about their products, their mission, and the various benefits of using this product, check out their video on youtube.

Don't forget: Fight the Fusion week runs from April 27 - May 4!
